Do Some Work is the virtual home of designer Emma Fairbrother, working in Manchester. Emma specialises in branding, print design, digital design and typography.

I'm Emma, a creative designer who has over ten years experience working in design, advertising and digital agencies. I have worked with big and smaller clients all over the world but my workplace is generally Manchester and often, London. I take on branding and design projects for clients myself but also work in agencies, as a freelancer.

If you have a project that you need help with, please get in touch, I'd love to Do Some Work for you.

Some lovely things people have said...

Darren Scotland, Character Creative

"I found Emma through LinkedIn and I have to say, she is one of the best candidates I've ever worked with. It's clear she's got bags of talent when it comes to design but it's her friendly, open and honest personality that sets her apart from most. I've really enjoyed working with her over the last month or two and I know a couple of my clients are delighted to have met her too. I'm sure she'll go on to do great things".

Elizabeth Davenport, VP at vcopious

"When you write these recommendations you have to choose three attributes best describing the person you're recommending. To choose the three I did, I had to leave out 'creative', which she is; I had to leave out 'on time' - and she's never, ever not done what she said she was going to do. I also had to leave out 'personable', and 'good value' - both of which really apply. Emma has the fabulous ability to listen to what you want no matter how obscure or off-beat the terms in which you describe it. She then comes up with designs which you didn't even know you wanted. I would recommend Emma highly to anyone looking for design work, creativity or high value communications.".

Emma Raeburn, Senior Account Manager at driven

"Emma is a fantastic designer who certainly knows her stuff. She brings creativity, attention to detail and diligence to every job she does, as well as genuine care and concern for what the client is trying to achieve. If I had to sum her up in three words I’d choose: fun, honest and gifted!".
